Thomas Engineering Associates, P.C. ("TEA") is an engineering services organization located in Waitsfield, Vermont. Glenn R. Thomas, owner and founder of TEA, is a Professional Engineer licensed to provide Mechanical Engineering services in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. TEA assists in all phases of building mechanical systems design. We provide high quality mechanical, plumbing and piping designs for commercial and residential customers throughout New England, as well as building services commissioning throughout the United States. TEA generates top quality design documents utilizing the latest AutoCAD software along with a variety of heat-loss and energy simulation.

At TEA we strive to produce a high quality product utilizing the most economical, efficient equipment and systems available to meet our customer's needs and expectations. The engineers at TEA work together with the client from start to finish. We begin by creating a conceptual design, based on the client's description of needs, to prepare accurate construction documents for bidding and installation. We then administer the installation of these systems, and finally commission the systems for the building operator following installation.

TEA is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). TEA actively pursues the design of "green" buildings and belongs to the U.S. Green Building Council.
