Mission Statement

To provide a balance of efficiency and expertise, with responsive, competitively priced services that meet our clients' needs, budget and schedule.

Thomas Engineering Associates (“TEA”) is a consulting engineering firm specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and piping design, commissioning, and other related services such as energy modeling and forensic engineering. With over 40 years of construction and Professional Engineering experience we can provide designs and/or commissioning for a variety of projects including commercial buildings, educational facilities, sports centers, resort complexes, multi unit/multi use buildings and government facilities.

We can help you optimize Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in the most cost conscious manner right at the conceptual stage of a building's design. We coordinate with the Design and Development team from the inception to establish a building’s baseline of energy loads. Through our energy modeling expertise we can demonstrate how energy efficiency can be impacted by changing variables such as orientation of building, flow within the building, window size and type, shading, variety of heat sources (such as Wood Pellet Boilers), occupancy, etc.; and show how the changes impact the overall budget of the project.

Principal Glenn Thomas PE, is licensed in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Connecticut. He is a Certified Commissioning Authority allowing him to commission buildings throughout the US and he is a LEED accredited professional.
