Thomas Engineering Associates is an engineering services organization, registered in the State of Vermont. Glenn R. Thomas, owner and founder of TEA, is a Professional Engineer licensed to provide Mechanical Engineering services in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Our primary goal is to provide efficient HVAC, Plumbing, & Piping designs that meet our client's needs and budget. We are dedicated to the task of fulfilling our client's needs first and are able to offer our clients a balance of efficiency and expertise which ultimately provides competitive fees, timely and responsive designs, and projects that are brought in on schedule and within budget. 

TEA offers professional, independent commissioning services and is dedicated to representing and ensuring that the owner's intentions and design objectives are satisfactorily accomplished throughout the project.

We are active members of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). Glenn Thomas is a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA), as defined by AABC Commissioning Group (ACG). 

We consciously pursue the design of "Green" buildings. TEA belongs to the U.S. Green Building Council. Glenn Thomas is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a member of the Vermont Green Building Network.

  • August 11, 2009 - TEA is selected to provide commissioning for 180000SF Bulk Mail Center in Springfield, MA.
  • June 9, 2009 - TEA is selected to provide commissioning for the Marlborough Elementary School in Marlborough, NH.
  • May 11, 2009 - TEA is selected for Homeland Security Expansion at the LEED Certified Whitecap Building in Williston, VT.
  • April 10, 2009 - TEA is selected by BG Mechanical Services for Madison Middle School renovation project in Madison, CT.
  • April 9, 2009 - TEA is selected by Siemens Building Technologies for design solutions at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH.
  • April 3, 2009 - TEA is selected by Avonda Air Systems to provide HVAC design for Synergy Exercise facility in the LEED Certified Whitecap building in Williston, VT.
